Core Funding Boost from Boots Charitable Trust
Home-Start Newark Secures Vital £10,000 Core Funding from Boots Charitable Trust
We are absolutely delighted to announce that at the end of February, Home-Start Newark was awarded a generous grant of £10,000 from the Boots Charitable Trust.
Unlike project-specific funding, this incredible award is dedicated to supporting our core running costs. In the charity sector, securing funding for day-to-day operations can be an uphill battle, making this contribution absolutely vital for our long-term stability and service delivery.
Keeping Our Essential Services Running
This grant will go directly toward maintaining our infrastructure and funding the amazing work of our Family Support Coordinators. Our coordinators are the bridge between families in need and our dedicated network of volunteers. They manage assessments, coordinate our Home Visiting Service, and oversee our twice-weekly Family Group sessions to ensure every family receives high-quality, compassionate care.
By covering these critical operational expenses, Boots Charitable Trust is providing us with the financial breathing room needed to focus on what we do best: strengthening families and empowering parents across the Newark and Sherwood district.
We extend our warmest thanks to the trustees of the Boots Charitable Trust for recognising the importance of core operational support and helping us maintain our 41-year legacy as a cornerstone of family support in the local area.
