Last week, we said a fond farewell to one of our wonderful team members, Emma, as she heads off on maternity leave to welcome her new baby!

Emma joined Home-Start Newark as a Family Support Coordinator in June 2024,

having previously supported families as a Home-Visiting Volunteer with Home-Start Nottingham. Her dedication, warmth, and care have touched so many lives during her time with us.

Sara Grant, Manager at Home-Start Newark, said:

"Emma is the heart and soul of our small team and her infectious enthusiasm and passion for our family-centred approach will be greatly missed by us all while she is away. We are so excited to welcome a little Home-Start baby to our staff family!"

While Emma is away, we’re delighted and incredibly grateful that our Family Support Coordinator, Claire Neal, will be stepping up to take on Emma’s hours, ensuring our services and families continue to receive seamless support.
